Is it just nostalgia? Or is there something more to it? Critics and fans alike agree that there’s more to this show than just a simple money grab taking advantage of our fond memories of Saturday morning cartoons. It has received the highest Rotten Tomatoes scores out of all the X-Men shows and movies coming in at 98% from critics and 93% from fans. We are only just halfway through the season however, so that score may yet come down, but as it stands right now it’s a clear favorite.
Before Marvel made the MCU there were the X-Men films that first came out in 2000. X and X2 received decent reviews, but several that came afterwards fell short on expectations. Below is the chart of scores from all of the movies so you can see for yourself.
