Big budget teams have grown their payrolls at a much faster rate than low budget teams over the last 10+ years. 2020 of course is an exception to the rule due to Covid, but if you take that year out of the equation you can see the gap in pay has widened. While it is not always the same team at the top and bottom of this list, there are definitely just a few reoccurring names that appear. Take a look for yourself below:
